Microsoft Office 98 for Macintosh will be deployed this summer to all Lab Management Mac computer facilities.
Microsoft Office 98 offers speed improvements, increased stability, and Microsoft Office 97 for PC file compatibility. No problems were found upon initial testing. Faculty and instructors utilizing Lab Management facilities have responded favorably to the possibility of the upgrade.
We will install Microsoft Office 98 in 21, 241, 247 Olson,1102 Hart and TB114 in July. The powerpoint component has already been installed in 1154 Meyer Media Production Lab. The 307 Surge IV facilities will receive the upgrade in August.
