Summer 2004 Upgrades
During Summer 2004 Computer Lab Management upgraded all the comptuer rooms. The upgrades include:
- Installed Dell GX270 computers with 3GHz Pentium 4, 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drives, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives, and 17" flat panel monitors in The Station (177MU), 1101 Hart, 1131 Meyer, and 1154 Meyer.
- Installed Apple iMac computers with 1 GHz G4, 512MB RAM, 80GB hard drives, CD-RW/DVD-R drives, and 17" widescreen flat panel monitors in The Station (177 MU), 75 Hutchison, and 241 Olson.
- Installed Apple iBook computers with 1 GHz G4, 512MB RAM, 40GB hard drives, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives, and 14" monitors in 247 Olson.
- Installed Apple G5 computers with dual 1.8 GHz G5, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drives, CD-RW/DVD-R drives, and 17" flat panel monitors in 1102 Hart.
- Upgraded all PCs to Windows XP Service Pack 2.
- Upgraded all Macs to Mac OS X 10.3
- Configured 1131 Meyer as a Multimedia Classroom. This included installing Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, and 5 flatbed scanners.
- Added 5 PC standup stations and one printer to 15 Olson
- Added 2 PC standup stations to 1101 Hart
- Added a second printer to 93 Hutchison
- Upgraded Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash in 1154 Meyer
