Description

The share function allows you to broadcast your screen or another station’s screen to other stations in the room.

To share your screen with other stations

• Select the station you want to share your screen with.

To select more than one station, hold down Command/Apple and click on each station’s name in the computer list.

To select all stations, click on any name in the computer list and choose "Select all" from the "Edit" menu.

• Click on "Share Screen" button in the toolbar.

• Ensure the "Share your screen" radio button is selected

• Click on the "Share Screen" button.

The screen image from your station will appear on the selected stations after a few seconds.  While sharing a screen, two windows will open on your computer--"Active Share Screen Tasks" and "Share Screen Status".

To share another screen with other stations

• Select the station you want to share another station’s screen with.

To select more than one station, hold down Command/Apple and click on each station’s name in the computer list.

To select all stations, click on any name in the computer list and choose "Select all" from the "Edit" menu.

• Click on the "Share Screen" button in the toolbar.

• Click on the "Share other screen" radio button.

• Drag the station whose screen you want to share from the computer list to the box directly underneath the "Share other screen" button.

The screen image from the shared station will appear on the selected stations after a few seconds.  While sharing a screen, two windows will open on your computer--"Active Share Screen Tasks" and "Share Screen Status".

To stop sharing screens

• Locate either the "Active Share Screen Tasks".

If a window has been hidden or closed, go to the "Window" menu and select "Active Share Screen Tasks."

• Click on the "Stop" button.
