AB Tutor Control Guide
Quick Links
Description
The watch (observe) function allows you to view one or more student screens on your station. When observing a single student’s screen, the screen appears in a window on your computer. When observing multiple screens, many scaled-down representations of each screen will appear in a window.
To observe a single station
- Select station that you would like to observe.
- Either click the "Watch" button in the toolbar or double-click on the computer name.

The student's station's screens will appear on your screen. A small control window will open in the upper left-hand corner.

To observe multiple stations
- Select the stations.
To select more than one station, hold down Control and click on each station's name in the computer list.
To select all stations, press Control - A.
- Click on the "Watch" button in the toolbar.

A new window will open that contains scaled-down images of the selected stations.

To stop observing
- Click on the red close button in the control window.

Tips on observing
If you are using the observe function to display a student's screen via the projector, you may want to have the student increase zoom level or the font size for a higher quality projection.
